Brides of Austin Magazine Feature
I know I’m old-school here, but I still really love flipping through magazines. Like REALLY. Magazines from weddings to fashion to interior design- I love them all! There’s just something about them that still feels magical. When Caryn & Bryan from The Bird and The Bear shared that Kristin & Craig’s wedding was to be featured in the Spring/Summer ’18 issue of Brides of Austin, giddy doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling.
Kristin and Craig’s wedding day couldn’t have been any prettier! It was the perfect early-fall afternoon in Austin with loads of sunshine, bright blue skies and soft white puffy clouds. And, as always, the grounds of Ian’s Chapel at Camp Lucy were immaculate.
With a view as naturally stunning as this, you really don’t need a lot of additional decor, so the florals team at Whim Hospitality designed two lush arrangements for the start of the aisle that we transferred into the reception after the ceremony.
Let’s take a moment for how absolutely stunning Kristin is in her gown! The lace! That dramatic low-back! And you already know how much I love her veil. (#veilobsessed)
Their reception was equally stunning with low textured floral arrangements and brass lanterns atop clean, ivory linens. Framed by the soft, muted pinks and neutral ivories, the hints of burgundy really pop! Check out the full feature over at the Bride’s of Austin blog and even more photos on The Bird and The Bear’s journal!
And of course, one more veil shot.
