A Playful + Organic Wedding at Camp Lucy

When I first met Erica & Yoni, I could instantly see that they were absolutely smitten with each other and absolutely in love. Their wedding at Camp Lucy took place at the largest venue called Sacred Oaks. Pulling from the venue’s natural textures and earthy hues, they envisioned a playful and organic wedding with lots of greenery and fun pops of floral.
We mixed and matched the table centerpieces, alternative between iron lanterns atop a greenery wreath and square wooden boxes lushly filled with greens and white floral pops. To complete each place setting, we added a menu card and a spring of rosemary that made the venue smell like like an English garden.
The couple’s ceremony was held under the stunning majestic oak trees that Sacred Oaks is famous for. This ceremony location really is magical! Lindsey Thorne Photography captured the entire day, and I especially love how she shot the ceremony!
One of my favorite moments of a wedding is watching the groom see his bride walk down the aisle. It’s like every emotion is hitting him all at once!
I’m also a big fan of utilizing decor for your heavily-photographed areas, like the dessert display. Erica & Yoni chose this textured hedge wall as a backdrop backdrop for their cake table, and it really made the cakes pop. After the cake cutting, guests used the backdrop wall as a fun selfie station! And aren’t these paper flowers the coolest? The amazing team at Whim Hospitality designed all the floral elements.
Erica & Yoni planted small succulents as favors for guests. It was such a sweet touch and really reflected the couple’s personalities.
Literally, my jaw dropped when I saw Erica & Yoni’s portraits. They are SERIOUSLY stunning!!
If we’ve ever met, you know that I’m OBSESSED with long veils. I love everything about veils, especially shots like this.
